When booking an appointment, you may be asked additional questions about your reason for calling, this is so that the Telephonist / Receptionist can determine whether you would be happy to see the Nurse Practitioner instead of a doctor. If you do not want to say why you feel you need an appointment, this is of course your perogative. However, knowing why you are calling can help us direct you appropriately to the right person and help us prioritise your needs.
